Plaguemix Antique

The new Plaguemix Antique collection has been released on StepMania's main site. It is not available on the Plaguemix Series page, so hop on over to stepmania.com to get it!

Plaguemix Antique contains five songs that I started writing simfiles for back before even Dance With Intensity was released. The tools used were CoolEdit and BMS Creator. The simulator was Delight Delight Reduplication. And the files were crap.

I have since gone back to those songs to recreate them as they appear today. Many of the original step design ideas used were maintained in these new versions, but (obviously) new things like hold notes have been added.

The songs are as follows:

• Juke-Joint Jezebel by KMFDM
• Rice & Curry by Dr. Bombay
• Stars by Roxette
• Who the Hell Are U -Illicit Mix- by Madison Avenue

All of the songs are designed with pad-style play in mind—they're not going to give keyboard players a sweat on their own. For fun, though, try playing them at 1.5 or 2.0 rate! Each song has a full set of Easy, Medium, and Hard steps in Single mode.
